Obama’s State of the Union Address is Just Talk!

President Obama’s speech was a disappointment to me, even though 90% of the nation approved of it. Why? Because his numbers did not add up.

In his State of the Union address, he pompously asserted that he will cut spending; however, he says that he won’t cut defense, social security, nor medicare, which constitute 61% of our budget.  Rather he will be focusing on the 19% of what he termed discretionary spending.  LOL!  What BS!

And then he said that he will close the tax loopholes for the oil companies.  But this has been proposed before and it never happens in Congress.  Why?  All of our representatives are owned by the oil companies.

Then he proposed increased spending on infrastructure, education, and the like.  But where will these monies come from, since he extended that tax holiday on the rich, allowing them to not pay $1 trillion of taxes over the upcoming years.

More rhetoric and BS from the talking President.  I cannot wait for 2012.
